Zoobug London continues support of ORBIS

A donation of over 500 Zoobug glasses and sunglasses are en route to Orbis this week as part of our ongoing support of the sight-saving charity. The frames are used in the child eye care programme in Zambia where there is an immense need for child eye health services. Orbis operates the world’s only Flying Eye Hospital and transforms lives by treating and preventing avoidable blindness. Dr Julie Diem Le explains, "Our commitment to this cause comes from my desire to raise awareness of the importance of eye health for all children. Childhood blindness is a global issue, and Orbis is making remarkable progress in the early detection and prevention of blindness in Africa, Asia and Latin America."

Since Zoobug first started working with Orbis in 2014, the children's eyewear label has donated the equivalent of £100,000 in high-quality kid's glasses and sunglasses.
